Where kindness is sexy, consent is everything, and everyone has a seat at the table.
Welcome to Vanilla Spiceâa soft-landing space in Second Life for curious minds and open hearts. Whether youâre here to explore kink, meet new friends, learn something new, or just vibe with the music, weâre thrilled youâre here.
To keep things sweet, safe, and spicy, we have a few simple rules. Theyâre not here to harsh your vibeâtheyâre here to protect it. đ
đ Rule 1: Consent is Queen (and King and Everything In-Between)
We cannot stress this enough: always ask first.
Donât touch, grab, cuddle, collar, message intimately, or assume someoneâs into something just because theyâre in an adult-rated sim. Consent applies to everything, including conversation.
We love flirtation and playâbut only when itâs mutual. If youâre unsure, ask. If someone says no or doesnât respond enthusiastically, drop it and move on. Consent is hot, yâall.
đ Rule 2: Keep It ClassyâNo Pushy Pick-Up Lines
This is a flirty space, not a free-for-all. Vanilla Spice encourages sensuality, curiosity, and connectionâbut not harassment.
Read the room, respect the vibe, and know that just because someoneâs friendly doesnât mean theyâre inviting you into their private scene. Politeness is always in fashion.
đ Rule 3: Be Inclusive or Be Quiet
We are an explicitly inclusive space. That means:
â LGBTQIA+ friendly
â BIPOC welcome and celebrated
â Neurodiverse-aware
â Trans-positive
â Kink-nonjudgmental
â Newbie-supportive
â Respectful of identities, bodies, and boundaries
Racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, body-shaming, or kink-shaming will get you kicked out faster than you can say âOops.â
đ Rule 4: Adult Content HappensâBut Keep It Classy
Yes, Vanilla Spice is an adult-rated space. Yes, we like our spice. But no, this is not the place for public roleplay or explicit emotes in general areas.
Weâre a learning space first, a community space second, and a spicy escape third. Want to get steamy? Use IMs, skyboxes, or designated spaces. And always make sure everyone involved is on board.
đ Rule 5: No Drama, No DMs Without Consent
Unsolicited DMs are like unsolicited nudes: not the vibe.
Ask before sliding into someoneâs IMsâespecially for anything personal, kinky, or suggestive.
And if thereâs a problem? Donât drag it into local chat. Ping a staff member privately, and weâll handle it with kindness and care. We keep the tea piping hot and the drama ice cold.
đ Rule 6: Dress Code? You Do You
At Vanilla Spice, we celebrate self-expression. Whether you’re in full latex, delicate lace, casual freebies, or nothing at all â your avatar is valid and welcome here.
That said, we do ask for a bit of subtlety when it comes to exposed genitals or adult attachments. Please avoid obvious sound effects, active arousal states (like erections or dripping), or anything that might be distracting in a shared space. Think tasteful, not tame. Letâs keep the vibe fun, flirty, and comfortable for everyone.
đ Rule 7: No Spamming, Begging, or Self-Promotion
We love supporting our community, but please donât use local chat or group notices to promote your shop, club, or services unless youâve gotten permission from staff.
Also: no begging for Lindens, landmarks, or attention. If you need help, weâve got mentors and staff who are happy to support youâjust ask respectfully.
đ Rule 8: Respect the StaffâTheyâre the Glitter Glue Holding It All Together
Staff are here to help, guide, and keep the space running smoothly. If a mentor, host, DJ, or admin gives you a heads-up about behavior, take it seriously.
Being kind to staff isnât just about following the rulesâitâs about recognizing that theyâre volunteering their time and energy to create a lovely experience for you.
đ Rule 9: Keep Voice to Private or Designated Areas
We know youâve got a great voiceâbut please keep it in IMs or events where voice is encouraged.
Public chat at Vanilla Spice is text-first to make sure everyone, including those who canât or donât use voice, feels welcome and included. (Weâre very into accessibility around here.)
đ Rule 10: Curiosity Is Always Welcome
Never feel too shy, too new, or too vanilla to ask questions here. Whether youâre taking your first steps into kink, figuring out how Second Life works, or just wondering what that thing in the corner does⌠we want you to ask.
Weâre here to learn, grow, explore, and support each otherâat your own pace, on your own terms.
đ Dress Code Note: Avatar Age Representation
At Vanilla Spice, weâre all about comfort, creativity, and self-expressionâbut we also have to ensure our space stays welcoming, appropriate, and compliant with community standards.
To help maintain a safe and adult-friendly environment, we’ve adopted clear guidelines for identifying avatars that may appear childlike. These are provided to our staff to help them make fair, consistent decisions. Please rememberâno single trait automatically defines an avatar as childlike; itâs a combination of several factors that may lead to a concern.
Here are the general guidelines our staff may consider when determining if an avatar is under age or “childlike”:
đ§ââď¸ Height under 4’9″ (unless clearly a fantasy race like a halfling or dwarf)
⨠Minimal or no breast development on a female-presenting avatar
đ Lack of curves or an extremely thin frame
đś A face with childlike features (elfin features, like pointed ears, are fine!)
đ Clothing or accessories that resemble child attire
đž Childlike AO (animations such as skipping, waddling, or exaggerated innocence)
đŹ Speaking in a childlike or babyish manner
đ Profile content that includes obvious child-related themes
We understand that avatars come in all styles and aesthetics, and we celebrate that diversity! However, if your avatar meets several of the above guidelines, you may be approached by staff to ensure alignment with our adult-themed space.
If you believe a mistake has been made, youâre absolutely welcome to send a notecard to management explaining your concerns. Weâll take the time to review it thoughtfully. That said, we stand by our staff and trust their judgmentâso unless thereâs compelling evidence, their decision will typically be upheld.
Thank you for helping us keep Vanilla Spice a sweet, safe, and inclusive place for all our grown-up guests. đ
